In todays video above, you are going to see how I learned to quickly and easily convert most video files into a different format using the excellent open source VLC media player. In this example I took a .wmv file that was not compatible with Camtasia Studio and transcoded it to a .avi file that could be used with Camtasia. BTW.. during the video I made a mistake and should have named the output file with a .avi extension but left it blank and it defaulted to the wrong .ps extension but anyway it still worked fine.
